Education Beyond Boundaries

“Hope is building a world where the sound of education and enlightenment is louder than the sound of guns.”

Why Hope?

Over 600 million children in the world lack basic literacy skills. That’s nearly 1 in 10 children worldwide which is almost twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours everyday in slums, homeless and displaced. Education not only gives them intellect to survive in challenging conditions but also empowers them with skills to support their families.

Education changes everything for the community. It improves health conditions, increases access to resources, boost local economies, and helps children to develop into productive human resource.

Low Income Countries

The Gross Domestic Product on average is US$680 while only 18% contribute towards government revenues.

44% of the population is under the age of twenty (20) years. This means by 2030 over 60% of the world’s children will be living in LIC countries.

Over 1 billion people in the world lack basic electricity let alone access to internet which stands at over 80% in developed nations.

Technology has the potential to deliver anything, anywhere and at anytime whereby innovative technologies such as adaptive learning or AI are game changers.

Over 600 million children are lacking in basic proficiency in reading and mathematics.

Due to unfavorable conditions of these children those that live in urban areas are 2.5 times more likely to attend schooling.

Women’s Empowerment

2/3rd of the illiterate people in the world are women. Educating a woman saves lives of millions including child berth deaths.

By educating women they overcome discrimination and the confidence and freedom to make better choices including providing better nutrition for children.
